#1—PROOF VS. FINAL
You’ve had a wonderful time capturing memories during your session—now comes the easy (and fun!) part...choosing your favorite moments to treasure forever! The email you've recently received contains the access information for your PROOF gallery. The PROOF gallery includes low-resolution, watermarked images that have only been lightly adjusted for exposure and cropping. Some of the images might be quite similar, with nuanced differences in expression or body language. This is because I fully believe the power to choose which image best reflects those you love should be in your hands.
Occasionally, you’ll see sample edits sprinkled in to give you an idea of how the final images will look in different lighting conditions. Please note that the sample edits are not final. Think of them instead as a quick sneak-peek.
Your FINAL gallery will be fully retouched and color-corrected, delivered in both full- and web-resolution. This includes removal of distracting background objects for a clean, polished look.

#2—DETERMINING QUANTITY
Each mini and full session includes a set number of digital downloads. If you’d like additional photographs, you may upgrade to a collection or purchase individual images à la carte after viewing the full selection in your PROOF gallery. Click the image above to review the collection pricing guide for mini and full sessions. This information can also be found in your photography service agreement.
EASY MATH—UNDERSTANDING UPGRADES
Please note that the number of images listed in each collection is in addition to the digital downloads already included in your session price. For example, if you purchased a mini session that includes ten [10] images, then decide to add mini · collection two · perfect poem (+20 digital images), you would receive a total of thirty [30] images. Mini session collections are completely digital, while full session collections feature additional digital images and heirloom-quality prints.
I'VE DECIDED TO UPGRADE TO A COLLECTION—WHEN DO I PAY FOR IT?
Excellent—I'm thrilled you love your gallery and want to save more of the images to enjoy! You will purchase these additional images through an online store linked to your FINAL gallery within fourteen [14] days of the FINAL gallery delivery.
#3—CURATING YOUR COLLECTION
To choose your included images and any optional upgrades, simply "heart" the photos you’d like to keep (shown above). Be sure to select the number of images included with your session, plus any extras you'd like to add to a collection or purchase à la carte.
Example: Your classic full session includes thirty [30] images. You decide you upgrade to full· collection one · short story (+30 digital images · prints). This means you should favorite a total of sixty [60] images—30 already included with your session and 30 that will be added to your collection upon purchase through the online store found in the FINAL gallery.
Important: Your PROOF gallery will automatically expire in fourteen [14] days, so please make your selections before then.
#4—SUBMITTING YOUR SELECTIONS
Once you’ve finalized your choices, simply share your favorites directly through the PROOF gallery (shown above, steps 1-3), or send an email to hello@vieart.co to confirm your selection. I’ll carefully retouch each chosen image and deliver your watermarked FINAL gallery within six [6] weeks after the proofing selection is complete.

In addition to having more control over choosing the images that bring you joy and capture the connections you cherish most, one of the benefits of the PROOF gallery process is the option to communicate directly with me about your favorite images before I delve into the nitty-gritty process of editing them to perfection.
You'll discover that you can add comments to your favorites for a truly tailored editing experience. For instance, if you'd like a closer crop for an image or want to ensure a certain distraction is removed from the background, just mention it in an image note and I'll do my very best to accommodate your request!
